How To Delete Xbox Live Account Profile Permanently Off a Xbox 360 console

If you have created an Xbox live profile, also knows as a account on your Xbox 360 console, it will be stored on the hard drive, usb drive, or memory unit that is attached to the console. The Xbox live profile will contain your gamertag, Xbox live membership, Microsoft points, friends you have and your progress made in games you have played on the games console. If you want the delete your Xbox live account off your Xbox 360 console because you are selling it to somebody or for some other reason, then follow the guide provide below. Just to let you know, make sure you are serious about deleting your Xbox live profile because once its deleted is gone permanently off the console. If you want your profile back, you will have to recover it, using the recover profile feature at Xbox live and that only works if your profile was online and you have to have your password, email address and gamertag.

1) Power on the console, wait for dashboard to appear on your television screen.

2) On the dashboard, under 'My Xbox' find 'Settings' and then 'select Storage'. You make the selections by pressing the green color 'A' button found on the controller.

3) Then you select the hard drive, usb drive or memory unit, depending on where its saved and then select 'Profiles'. It will show all the profiles that are used on your console.

4) To delete a account, simple select it, making sure its highlighted and then press 'A' and then select delete. If you want to remove more accounts, repeat this step again for the other profile.
