If you have a Nokia x6 mobile phone and you want to measure how loud sound is and you don't have a proper decibel meter, then you can use your Nokia x6 and a application called ' Picobrothers Decibel Meter', to measure how loud sound actually is. This application uses the microphone inside the Nokia x6 and that picks up the sound and the displayed vu meter on the screen and it will show you how much db the sound is. I have downloaded it onto my own Nokia x6 and it is actually accurate in terms of measuring db.
Before you install Picobrothers Decibel Meter onto your Nokia x6, make sure you have installed Nokia QTv4.7.1, if you don't, the application will not run. Also it will require a internet connection, when it is running, so make sure you have a data plan that offers lots of internet usage.
