If the engine inside your car is a non turbo charged, it means you can't heat sounds that a turbo charged engine can produce, sounds such as a blow off valve blowing off into the atmosphere, or a turbo spool whine or whistle, when the turbo spools up. However, if you can't afford to add a turbo to your ride and still want hear sounds of a turbo on your car, i have some very good alternatives that you will like.
1)If you have a Apple iphone, you can download an application called "iboost". It simulates a blow off sound of a turbo charger, when you drive your car about. All you have to do is buy it from the app store, install it, place the phone into a cradle and place the cradle on your dashboard. Then run the app, connect it to the aux output on your car head unit and enjoy loud blow off valve sounds. Every time you shift up gears, it will create a blow off sound, thanks to the clever accelerometer inside the phone. You can also use this app to hear induction and flutter sounds truly amazing!
2)Install a fake turbo whistler into the car exhaust. It is a simple and affordable device that fits directly into the tailpipe of the car exhaust. When you accelerate your car, the simple device will create a turbo whistling sound, like a turbo is spooling up.
