A memory card is used on a PlayStation 2 console, to save game data, so you don't lose hours of gameplay you have put in into games. A ps2 memory card can get full and can no longer allow you do save more game data onto because you have played loads of games and the storage space gets filled up, or you might want clear some unwanted junk off it. So you will need to know how to erase save data on your ps3 memory incase a game requires free space.
Instructions:
1)Power on your ps2 console, eject the disc tray, to remove a game or movie disc, then reset it. Make sure the memory card you want to delete data off is inserted into a free memory card port on the front of the console.
2)Once you have reset your PlayStation 2 console, it will land onto the home menu. Go to the browser screen option and select the memory card, this is by pressing the "X" button on the controller pad.
3)All the game saves that are saved onto the ps2 memory card will be displayed. Choose which game save you no longer want to be stored, then select it using the directional d-pad on the controller and press the "X" button and select delete. Then it will ask you if you are sure to delete the game save, select yes.
