If you have a Xbox 360 console that has Ixtreme firmware flashed onto the DVD Drive, it means that your console can play back up copies of your games. This feature can come in handy, when the original copy of the game you own gets scratched because you can simply insert the copy you have created of the game that is scratched and play it. If you are playing on Xbox live with a Xbox 360 console with a flashed DVD drive there are chances that your console and Xbox live account can get permanently banned. Once banned, it is very hard to unban a Xbox 360 console and if your account gets banned, there goes your gold subscription. So getting banned sucks, but if you want to prevent your console getting banned from Xbox live and still play back up games online, the solutions are below:
1)Stealth patch the backup game copy using a software called "ABGX". The software creates a file on the copy of the game you are going to create, that file prevents Microsoft to know that you have Ixtreme firmware on your console, so they can't find out, so they can catch and banned your console and account. The software is very easy to use, all you do is open the iso file of the game, then patch it, it will automatically connect to a server and grab the patch for you, when it is done it will add the patch, along with the iso file. Please note, a internet will be required for you to patch back up games if you are using ABGX as the patching software.
If you are interesting in using ABGX patching software, watch the video tutorial below because it shows you how do use it:
2)Make sure the firmware on the flashed DVD drive is up-to-date and is running the latest Ixtreme LT. The hackers have created this firmware to be flashed onto the disc drive, so Microsoft and there clever computers can't find out your drive is running firmware to play copied games. This means they can't catch you and band your console and account from their online services. If the drive inside your console doesn't have the latest firmware, then you will need to hook it up a sata cable to remove and then flash the new firmware onto it. If you don't have the DVD drive key, then you will also need a buy or create a probe, to extract the key from the drive.
