How To Make The Battery Last Longer On a PS3 Controller

I own a PlayStation 3 console and its a great console that has wicked graphics with a great selection of games. During the use of my own ps3 console, i noticed that battery inside the ps3 controller doesn't last very long, as every time i play on PSN for a long period of time, i always have to plug in the usb charging cable and charge up the ps3 controller, which can get annoying after a while. So i have came up with some solutions, that increase the battery life of the console, which are below:

1)Before unplugging the usb cable from the ps3 controller make sure that the controller is fully charged. Its no good plugging the ps3 controller in for 5 minutes and then using it because the battery has to been fulled charged to its maximum capacity.

2)The more closer the controller is to the ps3 console, the more battery life will be saved, so keep this tip in mind.

3)Turn off the vibration dualshock 3 feature on the controller.

4)Don't use the sixaxis feature, as this is use lots of battery usage, so stick to the buttons!

(These tips that i have provided above, help make the battery in the ps3 controller last more longer)

If you applied these tips and you are still facing problems with the ps3 controller's battery life, i suggest you replace the battery with a long life battery.
