How To Connect Your PS2 Slimline To The Internet

If you have a ps2 slimline that's great because it comes built in with a network online adapter, this means you don't have to buy it separate, like with the old fat PlayStation 2. To connect your ps2 slim to the internet to play games online, you will need a home broadband connection with a modem and a Ethernet cable to get setup.

Instructions:

1)If your ps2 slimline is turned on, turn it off by holding the power button for 4 seconds.

2)Once the console has powered itself off, insert the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the rear of the console.

3)Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into a free Ethernet port on your internet modem.

4)Turn on your modem and then turn on your ps2 slimline console.

5)Insert a network disc into the console.

6)Once the network disc is loaded, insert a memory card into a free memory card socket and create a network configuration.

7)Once you have created and saved a network configuration onto a memory card, load it and create a ID.

8)Once you have done that, your ps2 slimline will be setup for online gaming.
