The Nokia x6 has loads of on board memory because it comes with either 8GB, 32GB or 16GB, that gives it a great potential to use it as a removable storage device. To turn your Nokia x6 into a portable usb memory stick, you will need a usb cable, so you can connect it to your computer or laptop.
Instructions on how to do so:
1)Make sure the battery is fully charged, as connecting your Nokia x6 to a computer or laptop will drain the battery life really quickly.
2)Connect the usb cable into a spare usb port on your computer or laptop and connect the other side into the mobile phone, by remove the usb flap, located near the earphone jack and insert it into the usb socket.
3)Once the connections are made, your mobile phone will give you a list of option on what you want the phone to actually do. The option that you want to select is the option called 'mass storage', this will enable you to use it as a usb flash drive.
4)Once you have done that, your computer or laptop will open Windows explorer, with the root directory of the mass and phone memory, which you can use for storage.
